Company's Coming
Ah, Saturday morning at the Dishman/Armstrong estate.  Everyone slept in for hours and had breakfast cooked and brought to us in bed by the best chef on the West Coast.  OK, not really.

Instead, we all were up early cleaning house in a joint effort.  I got some fun assignments and volunteered for others....washed windows on both inside and outside surfaces, cleaned the guest bathroom entirely from floor to ceiling, mopped the kitchen and hallway and bathroom, and helped Ashley make dinner. It was a full day of work but the house was spotless and ready for guests.  I also moved all my stuff to an alternate bedroom to make way for the guests.  YES, I do windows!

Around 6:15 pm Bonnie, Eric's former boss at Interval Research in Palo Alto, and her husband Daniel arrived from Washington State on their way to CA then back east to NC and MA.  Dinner was served...Thai Beef Salad as a main course with bread and wine of course.  It was excellent as was the company and conversation.  I worked overtime getting all the dishes cleaned and put away while Eric and Ashley indulged in conversation.  After the full day, it was time for some sleep!

Tomorrow I take another day hike on Wildwood Trail to see how the foot responds...I think it'll do just fine.
