I was all set to hit the trail this morning…but…Doodlebug and Nitro wanted to stay in town and take another zero mile day…so did Phantom, Whoop Ass, Bad Moon and Happy. Nabor I and Chowda were staying as well. My choice was to leave town alone and not see my trail buddies for several days or stay in town and hang out for another day. It was a tough decision, but I decided to stay in town. We spent the day lounging around. We visited K-mart, Burger King, the convenience store and a great restaurant for lunch. We watched movies, sat in the hot tub, and watched more movies. It was a great zero mile town day, but I felt anxious to get back on the trail. We heard from Good To Go who should be getting into town tomorrow morning. It’s time to get out of Tehachapi and head for the Sierras.
