Journaling, journaling, journaling
Keeping a daily journal is work.  There are days when I just don't feel like making the effort.  Other days, especially when on trail or traveling, there's no time to actually commit to the process until late evening when fatigue is high and energy is non-existent.

Today was journaling day to catch up on all the events in the last few days.  I spent a decent part of the morning and afternoon getting caught up.   Once the heat of the day kicked in, I went outside to do some deck work.  I want to keep exposing myself to heat and be active in it since so much of the remaining hiking will be in lower elevations and hot temperatures.  The deck project is coming along and Ashley and I will tackle it again later in the week.

When Eric came home from work we headed out to Chevy's for some Mexican food.  They do a great job with Mexican cuisine even though they are a chain.  After dinner we returned to the ranch to continue watching 3rd season episodes of 24.

Foot update...the watched pot never boils.  The watched foot never heals.  Seems it's not going to happen.  I'll keep my patience and there's plenty to be done to keep me busy in the interim.

Website update....I have added to the links list additional links to hikers I have met along the journey.  There are some great journals to read and photos to see, so enjoy at your leisure!
